Welcome to Cairo Greifswald Meeting

Facing The Challenges

This International Neurosurgery Symposium is being organized by the Cairo Greifswald Cooperation Team (CGN),

And endorsed by Cairo University, Faculty of Medicine Greifswald, The German Academic Exchange service (DAAD),

The Egyptian Society of Neurological Surgeons (ESNS).

Welcome Message

Dear All,

Let me welcome you on behalf of the organizing team to the 3rd Joint CAIRO- GREIFSWALD Scientific Meeting in collaboration with The Egyptian Society of Neurological Surgeons (ESNS), due next December 4-6 in Cairo.
As you may well know that the Live-surgery Workshop back in December 2015 was successfully held in Kasr Alaini School of Medicine. Followed last December by a fruitful, outstanding and well attended Greifswald Seminar.

The cooperation between the two Universities Cairo and Greifswald started more than five years ago with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the exchange of knowledge, organized visits, combined conferences and research work.

The coming gathering is unique because of expanding to include other German Universities and additionally the shaping into an annual update course.
I hope for all the participants a memorable and successful event.

Dear All,

The Egyptian Society of Neurological Surgeons (ESNS), was created in 1967 with the purpose of unifying Egyptian Neurosurgeons under one umbrella to enhance this ever challenging specialty. Since that date, The ESNS was the locomotive of all scientific, academic and training activities within Egypt.

The ESNS has endorsed the fruitful agreement between departments of neurosurgery in both universities of Cairo and Greifswald and its my pleasure to invite both local and international neurosurgeons to the upcoming update course taking place at the learning resource center (LRC) at Cairo University in the period between 4th and 6th December 2017.

This update course will be the 3 rd meeting organized by the two universities and endorsed by the DAAD.

We wish you all a pleasant stay in Cairo and a memorable scientific gathering.
